Mary Tidwell
Mary is the founder of Let’s Do Science!. After being the president of the Women in Science Association at Brigham Young University, Mary felt strongly about reaching out to women who may not have considered a career as a physician because they have no mentorship. In fact, Mary felt alone and without support during her first few years of college. She wished she would have had more help in her process of deciding to pursue a career in medicine. This is what motivated Mary to found Let’s Do Science!.
Mary is very passionate about engaging with other women in the scientific community and creating an environment where other women can rely on each other for understanding and inspiration. She believes in helping women realize the impact they can have on others with their God-given gifts.
In her free time, Mary likes to play the guitar, ski, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
